There is something incredibly sensual and mysterious about the young Ukrainian model, Hanna. While her petit figure and impish smile make Hanna as charming as a pixie, she also exudes an appealing intelligence and inscrutability throughout her appearances at Met. To bring out Hanna’s physical and emotional assets, artist Voronin chooses to photograph her in the shadows of a wooden foyer, where soft light emphasizes her physical beauty while simultaneously hinting at her hidden nature.
A master of portraiture, Voronin, begins the series with a number of beautiful composed portraits of Hanna, capturing her dressed in lacy black mini dress, black garter belt, and a silky black bra. The first portrait featured from this series is extremely intimate, highlighting Hanna’s incredibly beauty. Moving in closely, the photographer fills the frame of the photo with Hanna’s beautiful face, neck and shoulders. Close enough to touch, Hanna’s large brown eyes look downward toward the camera with a sparkle of slyness.
In the second image featured from this series, Voronin pulls back to offer a look at the model’s slender and shapely figure. In this photo, Hanna’s black bustier has come loose to reveal the top of her nipple, and she raises her hands sensuously to her breasts. At the same time, she boldly shows the camera the dark line of groomed hair that rises between the taut straps of her garter belt. Shadows fall across the right side of her body, bringing out the contours of her figure, and gently emphasizing her beautiful olive skin tone.
In the final image from the photo shoot, Hanna is seated on the steps of a wooden staircase, her legs spread open to reveal the line of hair and soft flesh between her thighs. A barely visible bikini line draws the eye towards her more intimate regions. What is particularly striking about this image is the way that Hanna has arched her body to the side, lifting an arm to her head and allowing her dark tresses to fall across her face and down her back. In this position, the lovely model seems to fill the photo with her bronzed body, whose colors are mimicked in the wooden staircase that forms her backdrop.
